Smoked Baby Back Ribs with Bourbon Apple BBQ Glaze

Fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs with a sweet and savory bourbon apple BBQ glaze. Low and slow smoking creates incredibly tender ribs, finished with a sticky glaze of Kinder's Bourbon Apple BBQ Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs (about 3 lbs each)
  • 3 tablespoons Kinder's Hickory Brown Sugar seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup Kinder's Bourbon Apple BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Wood chips (apple or hickory)

Instructions

    Remove the membrane from the back of each rib rack by sliding a butter knife under it and pulling with a paper towel.

    Combine Kinder's Hickory Brown Sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub generously over both sides of the ribs.

    Wrap ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

    Preheat smoker to 225F. Add soaked wood chips to the smoker box.

    Place ribs bone-side down on the smoker. Smoke for 3 hours, spritzing with apple cider vinegar every hour.

    Wrap ribs in foil with a drizzle of honey. Return to the smoker for 2 more hours.

    Mix Kinder's Bourbon Apple BBQ Sauce with a splash of vinegar. Unwrap ribs and brush generously with the glaze.

    Smoke uncovered for 15-20 more minutes until the glaze is set and sticky.
