Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 3 tablespoons Kinder's Taco Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Taco shells, tortillas, or lettuce wraps
  • Toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, cilantro, lime

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    Add diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

    Add ground beef and garlic. Break up the meat with a wooden spoon and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.

    Drain excess fat if needed.

    Add Kinder's Taco Seasoning and water. Stir to combine.

    Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
